On the warehouse and office building in Stara Pazova, our team carried out insulation works.

A specific feature of this project was the installation of a thicker layer of thermal insulation – stone wool with a total thickness of d = 24 cm.
The investment in a thicker insulation layer is justified over a longer period of time.
Winters are becoming milder, with fewer heavy snowfalls and no extremely low temperatures, while summers are increasingly characterized by tropical heat waves and high temperatures typical for our region.

The savings are reflected in reduced energy costs for the building’s climate control – lower heating expenses in winter and lower cooling costs in summer.

Another characteristic of this project is the large number of skylights/smoke vents – N = 21 units in total.
Thermal and waterproof insulation of steel upstands requires significant experience and precision.
The waterproofing installers in our company possess exceptional skills, expertise, and accuracy in their work.

According to the wind load calculation, in the ‘Field’ area, double mechanical fixing of the waterproofing membrane was required into the upper rib of the trapezoidal steel deck.

The installation of roof stone wool and the waterproofing membrane was carried out during high summer temperatures.
Due to the challenging working conditions, the work schedule was adjusted – works started early in the morning and stopped once the temperature became unfavorable for the waterproofing installers.

The project also included the installation of standard supports for the lightning protection aluminum conductor.

The total area of the roof waterproofing is approx. P = 1350 m².
