The installation of the roofing covering has been completed at the ‘Jet Set Group‘ business facility. The layers of the roofing covering are in accordance with the recommendations and the project specifications defined in the details.

A vapor barrier has been installed over the trapezoidal sheet, followed by stone wool insulation, and finally, a UV-resistant PVC roofing membrane is mounted as the top layer. The waterproofing membrane is secured to the trapezoidal sheet using telescopic dowels. The overlaps of the waterproofing are welded with hot air using specialized hand tools and semi-automatic machines designed for welding waterproofing membranes.

Most importantly, the roofing membrane is fixed according to a layout determined by the so-called ‘wind load’ calculations, ensuring that the roofing membrane can withstand all weather conditions, including strong storm winds.

Additionally, for flat roofs, it is essential to provide not only drains for water evacuation but also safety overflow outlets. These overflow outlets allow excess water to be discharged from the basin when the drains cannot handle large amounts of precipitation, particularly during summer downpours and severe weather events that have become increasingly frequent in recent years.

The total area of the waterproofing on the business facility is approximately 1,000 m².
