Commercial Building – Dobanovci – Waterproofing Coating ‘Sikalastic 641’

In a commercial building in Dobanovci, repairs were made to the roof penetrations where leaks had occurred.

The roof penetrations on sandwich panels were treated with the liquid waterproofing membrane ‘Sikalastic641‘.

Surface preparation involved cleaning with a cleaner and the application of appropriate primers depending on the substrate type.

A ‘Metal Primer‘ was applied to metal surfaces, while the PVC substrate was prepared with ‘PVC Primer‘.

After the primer had cured, the first layer of ‘Sikalastic641‘ was applied, and a fleece mesh ‘Sikalastic Reemat Premium‘ was embedded into it. Once the first coating had cured, a second layer of ‘Sikalastic641‘ was applied.

The application of the liquid waterproofing was performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and prescribed technology.

This repair system is particularly suitable for older metal roofs with sandwich panels, metal flashings, and various types of roof penetrations in industrial buildings.
