At an existing production facility within the Froneri Adriatic S complex in Stara Pazova, an inspection was carried out at the request of the main contractor due to water leaks affecting the warehouse and production areas.

The leak was detected in the valley of the flat roof, where the PVC waterproofing membrane near the parapet had deteriorated, forming small punctures responsible for the leakage. These damages were caused by excessive movement of the parapet due to wind-induced oscillations, exceeding the allowable deflections.

To resolve the issue, additional structural reinforcement was proposed and implemented by installing steel profiles (parapet braces).

This solution was the most practical during the rainy season, as it allowed for localized roof repairs without disrupting the facility’s operations.
