Waterproofing of roof terraces and planters was carried out on a residential building in Stara Pazova.

On the roof terraces, a geotextile layer was installed as a separation layer on the slope layer, PVC strips were placed on upstands and parapets, drains were installed, and then the PVC waterproofing membrane ‘Sikaplan 15G‘ was mounted.

Approximate waterproofed roof terrace area: P = 110m2.

Waterproofing of the planters was executed with an FPO waterproofing membrane ‘Sarnafil TG 66-15‘, designed for load-bearing roof systems, resistant to microorganisms and root penetration.

Approximate waterproofed planter area: P = 70m2.

Some inaccessible areas were waterproofed using liquid membranes ‘Sikalastic 641‘ or ‘Sikalastic 614‘, depending on whether a UV-stable coating or a load-bearing roof system coating was required.

Certain parts of the terraces and planters were extremely inaccessible, with irregular geometric shapes and tight spaces requiring exceptional effort and dedication from the installers. Experienced waterproofing specialists successfully completed the installation on this project with maximum commitment.
