The renovation of the roof terrace at ‘Metro CC – Horeca Center‘ in Belgrade began with the removal of ceramic tiles and thorough cleaning, i.e., preparation of the substrate for the installation of waterproofing.

The applied layers include geotextile 500g/m2 and a waterproofing membrane Sikaplan 15G.

The fence supports and other details were waterproofed using the liquid polyurethane membrane Sikalastic 641, according to prescribed technology.

Finally, PVC non-slip pedestrian walkways were installed to provide access to equipment on the roof.

Unstable weather and heavy rainfall caused difficulties in the execution and installation of the waterproofing, but good planning, preparation, skill, and experience of our installers successfully overcame all weather challenges.
