At the production and office complex in Zrenjanin, repair and preventive maintenance of the flat roof waterproofing system were carried out.

Following the investor’s request, a full inspection was performed on the flat roof comprising four production halls with a total area of approx. 46,000 m².

In addition to defect identification and repairs, preventive maintenance was done at potential leakage points, such as:

  • Ventilation openings
  • Ventilation ducts
  • Service penetrations
  • Electrical cable entries
  • Steel pipe supports
  • Sloped insulation and waterproofing
  • Parapet waterproofing at building junctions
  • Sealing around skylights
  • Cleaning of drain grates and other roofing elements

Work included processing large ventilation duct penetrations with waterproofing membrane, installing new PVC battens, separation geotextile, and Sikaplan 15G membrane.

All joints on the metal ducts were sealed with Sikaflex 11FC sealant.
Steel profiles and conduits were treated with Sikalastic 641 polyurethane liquid membrane.

  • Penetrations sealed with liquid membrane: 130 pcs
  • Parapet waterproofing (membrane): ~500 m² / 415 m total length
  • Sloped insulation (tapered boards) and waterproofing: ~45 m²
  • Skylight waterproofing: ~50 units / 360 m total length
