For the residential building in Sremska Mitrovica, the complete installation of thermal and waterproofing insulation for the roof and terraces was carried out.

The layer structure for all roofs and terraces includes:

  • Reinforced concrete slab
  • Vapor barrier – bituminous Sarnavap 5000E
  • Primary thermal insulation – extruded polystyrene (XPS)
  • Sloped thermal insulation – EPS A120 cut at a 1% slope
  • Waterproofing membrane – Sarnafil TG 66-15 and Sarnafil TS 77-15
  • Protective geotextile layer
  • Stone pebbles (ballast)

After completing all waterproofing works, a hydro test was conducted by flooding the roof and terraces with water.

Once it was confirmed that there were no leaks and that the waterproofing was executed according to the required specifications for this type of membrane, the geotextile layer was placed, and the stone ballast was spread.

This project was carried out in excellent cooperation with the design company and the investor.

The total installed waterproofing area is approximately 230 m².
