According to the request of the lightning rod installation contractor, the fastening of the lightning rod holders was carried out at the “Object B2” production facility in “Ball Packaging” complex in Zemun.

The lightning protection installation is placed on typical holders for a flat roof.

Flat roofs with synthetic membranes are most often made with a slope of the roof planes of about 2%.

At the “Ball Packaging” complex, the roofs were constructed with a greater slope of approx. 8%, and for this reason there was a need to strengthen the lightning rod holders.

The fastening of the lightning rod holders was carried out by placing “strips” out of PVC membrane over each lightning rod holder and then hot air welding was performed for the basic waterproofing.

The fastening was carried out on the lightning conductor with a length of approx. L=50m by fastening N=50 pieces of lightning conductor holders.

The bracing prevents the movement of the lightning conductor under the influence of the wind as well as the influence of gravity due to the greater slope of the roof planes.
