At a warehouse facility in Batajnica, rainwater leakage occurred at the ridge of the roof panels, particularly during strong winds.

Upon the investor’s request, a technical solution was proposed and implemented: ridge sealing with a PVC waterproofing membrane.

The repair involved installing PVC trim profiles along the corrugated shape of the roof panels on both sides of the ridge. The profiles were secured with aluminum rivets.

The ridge flashing was then covered with a separating layer of geotextile, followed by the installation of Sikaplan 15G PVC waterproofing membrane, which was welded onto the PVC trim profiles.

At each rib of the upper roof panel profile, the waterproofing membrane was precisely cut, and additional Sikaplan 18D membrane patches were applied to reinforce the details.

This intricate process required exceptional precision and patience, as all welds were executed manually using a hot air gun.
