Thermal insulation and waterproofing were installed on a residential building in Stari Banovci.
A vapor barrier ‘Sarnavap 1000E‘ was placed over the RC roof slab, followed by the main thermal insulation of extruded polystyrene (XPS) d=24cm and sloped EPS A120 insulation to achieve a 2% slope towards the drains. Additionally, 5cm of façade EPS insulation was installed on the vertical part of the parapets.
The final layer was an FPO waterproofing membrane ‘Sarnafil TS 77-15‘, which was fixed into the RC slab using FDD-Plus-50 roofing anchors at overlaps and welded along the edges to the FPO L-profile (drip edge).
Accessories included horizontal drains and vapour release vents.
Total area of thermal insulation: approx. 80 m²
Total area of waterproofing: approx. 100 m²
