The roof waterproofing on a residential building in Stara Pazova has been repaired.

The existing bitumen waterproofing on the building had deteriorated, leading to leaks into the building.

Before installing the new waterproofing, the debris, loose parts of the roof waterproofing, and other rubble on the roof were removed.

The repair involved laying a separating layer of geotextile on the surface, followed by the installation of a PVC waterproofing membrane ‘Sikaplan 15G‘, which was fixed to the substrate with screws and washers. The waterproofing was then welded with hot air at the overlaps.

Roof penetrations, chimneys, and vents were also waterproofed with the installation of PVC flashings, treated with PVC membrane, and then sealed with polyurethane sealant ‘Sikaflex 11FC‘.

Some elements were waterproofed with liquid polyurethane membrane ‘Sikalastic 641‘.

The approximate area of the roof waterproofing is about P=250m².
