Prefabricated building – Showroom

With the development of new materials and assembly technologies, prefabricated buildings are increasingly being built in practice, which serve as model examples offered by manufacturers of prefabricated buildings. Such objects are most often called “Showroom” or, better explained as demonstration rooms / exemplary objects.

At the prefabricated building in Novi Sad waterproofing of roof terraces and planters was done.

PVC waterproof membrane “Sikaplan 15G” has been placed on the roof surfaces that remain exposed to UV radiation in a total area of ​​approximately P=180m².

A universal PVC waterproof membrane for a loaded roof system, resistant to microorganisms and rooting, “Sikaplan U15” with a total area of ​​approx. P=190m² was installed on the roof surfaces-planters.

Taking into account the small dimensions of the roof units, the waterproofers had to use their skills and experience to the maximum when installing and welding the waterproofing membrane.

Certain elements and inaccessible parts of the roof were waterproofed with polyurethane coating “Sikalastic 641” (according to the prescribed technology) for safety.

After the works were completed, a hydrotest was performed to check the functionality of the waterproofing.
