At the production complex of Ball Packaging in Zemun, thermal insulation and waterproofing were installed on the roof panel of the Bulk Room facility.

Following a proven renovation system, a substructure made of steel sheet strips (thickness d = 1.25 mm) was mounted onto the roof panels and secured with aluminum rivets at the rib peaks. The next layer, PIR thermal insulation, also served as a leveling layer for waterproofing installation.

Once the PIR insulation was in place, a PVC waterproofing membrane was installed and mechanically fastened into the steel sheet strips according to the Windload calculation provided by the waterproofing manufacturer.

The total installed waterproofing area is approximately 230 m².
