The roof waterproofing system of a commercial building in Stara Pazova was repaired due to mechanical damage caused by storms and strong winds. The weather had significantly compromised the existing waterproofing layer, resulting in water ingress.

The repair involved two main methods:

I. Installation of new PVC waterproofing membrane Sikaplan 15G over arched roof sections, including thermal insulation (80 mm stone wool). The membrane was finished with PVC profiles and sealed with Sikaflex polyurethane sealant. Liquid waterproofing Sikalastic 641 was used to bond the new PVC membrane to the old bitumen membrane, applied in two layers with Sika Reemat Premium mesh, following primer application.

II. Spot and linear mechanical damage on the bitumen membrane was treated with Sikalastic 641, applied in two reinforced layers with Sika Reemat Premium.
