On the roof of the storage and production facility – Hall BA and the canopy within the ‘Ball Packaging‘ company in Zemun, we carried out the installation of thermal insulation and waterproofing as a service.

A PE foil vapor barrier was installed as a separating layer on the trapezoidal sheet metal roof, followed by thermal insulation consisting of 50kPa rock wool with a thickness of 15 cm, applied to both the roof and the canopy, as well as in the roof parapet holkers.

Next, tapered insulation (rock wool boards with a slope) was installed over the base thermal insulation to create a slope towards the drains.

The final layer consists of the PVC waterproofing membrane ‘Sikaplan 15G‘, which was mechanically fastened with anchors at the joints of the trapezoidal sheet metal roof and hot-air welded at the overlaps. The fastening layout of the membrane was determined based on the Wind Load Calculation provided by the waterproofing manufacturer.

The total area of the installed waterproofing amounts to approximately 1,730 m².
