DVS Izolacija is adopting new technologies in construction for waterproofing. For the religious building, below-grade waterproofing was installed using the ‘SikaProof‘ system.

SikaProof® A is a composite waterproofing membrane system that is fully and permanently bonded by welding at the overlaps. It is installed before placing and securing the reinforcement and pouring the concrete.

The total waterproofed area of the foundation slab is approximately P=160m².

The total area of the waterproofed foundation walls using the adhered membrane ‘SikaProof P – 1200‘ is approximately P=100m².

A waterproofing strip ‘SikaSwell A2010 Red‘ was installed along the joint between the foundation slab and foundation walls, with a length of approximately L=60m.

A fillet made of ‘SikaMonoTop 412N‘ was constructed at the junction of the foundation slab and foundation walls, with a total length of L=60m.

PVC waterproofing ‘Sikaplan 14.6. – Sikaplan WP 1100 – 20HL‘ was installed, covering an area of approximately P=100m².

On this small project, waterproofing materials were installed according to the new technology from the Swiss manufacturer ‘Sika‘, thereby enabling ‘DVS Izolacija‘ Ltd. to successfully complete the installation of underground waterproofing using the ‘SikaProof‘ system.
