At the hotel facility, the existing roof covering was made of metal, constructed with a system of folded panels. Due to frequent leaks into the building, the investor decided to undertake roof repair.

Thermal insulation from the manufacturer “Knauf Insulation” was installed on the hotel roof, and waterproofing was provided by the Swiss manufacturer “Sika”. The type of rock wool used is “Smart Roof Top”, which is the highest quality for this type of work, while the waterproofing is “Sikaplan 15G”, designed for non-traffic and non-load-bearing roofs exposed to atmospheric conditions and UV radiation.

Additionally, lightning rod mounts of the latest generation from the manufacturer “Hermi Invisible Lightning Rods” were installed on the roof, along with snow guards to prevent the filling of the drainage horizontal gutters due to accumulated snow during the winter, as well as to prevent snow from sliding off the roof.

The total approximate area of the roof that has been insulated and waterproofed is about P=400 m².
